The ISAA team are please to announce that we have come to agreement, with a supplier of Satellite dish/ Aerial Equipment, in which we will be carrying out a ISAA quality process, on there equipment, i.e. : dishes and hardware.

The Irish Satellite & Aerial Association (ISAA) are pleased to announce their recognition as an Aerial and Satellite installation body by RTÉ’s new digital TV service ‘Saorview’.As all analogue broadcasting throughout Europe must cease by the end of 2012, RTÉ are encouraging viewers to use competent, trained, professional installers for Saorview and the forthcoming Saorsat service.

The aim of the ISAA is to provide to the consumer a body of aerial and satellite installers who meet the following criteria:

Are competent in the installation of aerials & satellite dishes
Have a registered business or company
Have public liability insurance
Undergone a criminal record check
Compliant with the HSA guidelines on working at heights

With the above criteria in place ISAA members can provide a reliable, guaranteed aerial installation service to the consumer, and thus providing a smooth transition from analogue to digital TV that benefits both consumer and ISAA members. The ISAA will provide comprehensive modular training courses relevant to the Irish TV market with emphasis to ‘Saorview’ and ‘Saorsat’, these courses will be FAS or FETAC approved.
